Flurry of Emails from "Meat"
Merideth (or "Meat" as her friends call her), the woman Dr Oil believes he is scamming, sent out a flurry of emails this afternoon. Here they are

Mr Franklin -
I heard on the radio last night that Western Union sent their last telegram ever.
Since it too late to send the money to Mr Smith using Western Union is there some other way I can do it?
Can I just send it to him in the mail?

Sule
I have bad news. I think I missed the deadline with Western Union.
I heard last night that Western Union sent their last telegram. I guess they went out of business and I was told to use them to get the transaction fee to the American branch of the bank.
See, Mr Ken to me to send a transaction fee to another banker in Houston so he could transfer the money to my account. And now it looks like I won't be able to do it because I was visiting my sick sister who doesn't have a computer. I could just about spit, I tell you.
I quickly sent an email to Mr Ken, though. I hope it got to him before the end of the business day in London - I'm not sure about the time zones, but I fear I might be too late to get anything done this week. I asked Mr Ken to let me know another way to get the money to the banker. I hope I can do it some way besides Western Union.
Finally, what should I do about these lawyers? I am sort of afraid of them sending me email. I don't want to be arrested for anything.
The letters from the lawyers seem not to be too threatening but you never said anything to me about lawyers.
Oh! I forgot to tell you. I know you said not to say anything to anyone about this deal, but when I was at the bank taking out money to send to the banker in Texas I mentioned to the teller that I was expecting a large transfer to my account. That's all I said, honest. I caught myself after that and never said a word about where the money was coming from so the teller knows nothing about the deal. I just thought you, as my friend and partner, should know that.
I guess I am a little high strung about this whole deal. It is just that this is more money than I can even imagine.
Sincerely
Meat

> Dear Merideth, How could I have given up on you? Never, our hopes, dreams and future are now dependent on you. I told you before that we would do all that is necessary to get the fund approved and paid to you. I must confess to you that you got me scared for a while there, I thought they have already paid the monies to you and that you had allowed greed to set in and decided to hold everything to yourself, since I didn't hear a word from you ever since. I got your mail yesterday and I cannot tell you how happ I am to hear this from you. I did not write back immediately because I wanted to verify if what you got form this Mr. Ken Franklin is true and in order. I just got all the information needed this morning and everything is in order indeed. The paying authorities have appointed this security firm in London to make payments to you in the United States so we are on the up and up on this. All your money worries are coming to an end now I tell you. Please carry out any
>directive they have given to you fast and when was it that they contacted you? We are at a very vital stage of this transaction now Merideth so you must communicate with me more timely.
