Baltimore v Annapolis

This week I started working in Annapolis and I've noticed a some trends.
First off, I haven't noticed any junkies or hookers wandering the streets of Annapolis. I have to admit, however, that most of the time I've spent in Annapolis I've spent either in my new (humungous) office or on the highway and as so am not much of an authority. The junkies may be there off on a side street.
I can say with some authority that the number of oblivious drivers with cell phones seemingly glued to their ears drastically increases the closer one gets to Annapolis. I start my drive to work (I refuse to call it a commute) in the heart of Baltimore and see nothing of the sort (I hypothesize that this is because no one in my neighborhood can afford both a cell phone and a car) but by the time I get to Annapolis I'm forced to weave in between drivers weaving across lanes, driving 40 in the left lane, etc. See Figure 1.

However, even more disturbing is the naked jogger I saw this morning. I was stopped at a stoplight and while stopped a pot-bellied, hairy, old man rounded the corner wearing nothing but a speedo. At first I thought he was naked, but upon reluctant inspection I saw, just below his bobbling belly, a tiny speedo-type bathing suit.
I was truly disturbed. I think I prefer the junkies.

Welcome to the B to A commute. I've been doing it for about three years now. It's sort of long, but at least you can use fifth gear, unlike the Beltway commutes. I checked our new employees page and didn't see your name so I guess you're not working here. You're spot-on about the cell phone usage, but your naked jogger stat seems low. I seem to rack up at least one every other week if I'm on Generals Highway during lunch or something.

Yeah, the drive isn't as slow as 95 or 295 I think the thing that bothers me is that I'm constantly teased with the prospect of going 75 -80.

I may work fo the say company as you, nobody added me to the employee list. All I got was a name on my office. I don't work anywhere near the naked joggers on general highway, though. It might be someplace else.

I can show you where the junkies and the hookers are.

We have them.

Trust me.
