Those Damned Ribbon Magnets

I've had it with those damned ribbon magnets everyone has on their car.
And I'm going to do something about it.

It's subversive. It has something to do with the Wal-Mart parking lot.

That's all I can say right now, but I thought I'd let you know.

Maybe you can get someone to create your own ribbon magnet that says something like, "Support Our Magnetic Ribbon Manufacturers" or "God Bless Magnetism".

when i see one of those ribbons on a car (typically some sort of SUV-like thing, come to think of it...hmmm... coincidence?), i feel immediately possessed by some sort of freudian death drive, and barely manage to keep myself from plunging my car into theirs at maximum possible speed.

yeah, i need to work on that.

holy fuck, please do the "god bless magnetism" ribbons! THAT IS AWESOME.

i'm suggesting this on my blog.

let the revolution commence!

I like the magnetism angle. I may have to incorporate it into my plot.

God Bless Magnetism
Support Magnetism

Revolution starting ... now.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. There is just no meaning behind it anymore. Not unlike Baby On Board, once 5 are sold, it's all over.

I had the idea to go to a parking lot and switch the different ones on cars to other cars. A breast cancer car gets support our troops...support our troops gets god bless America and so on...

Imagine the pain, the shock, the horror those people would feel after finding out they'd been advocating a cause different than the one they intended. "Ah! Thousands of people are now troop supporters when I wanted them to be more aware of autism. How can this be?"

Great idea. Our site, which will sell all things cool AND magnetic (we open in September), would be proud to sell these! You make 'em, we'll get them out there!
